None of the fun of the fair!

These photos were taken one New Years Day at Hunstanton on the West Norfolk coast. As the fair was shut and looked very bleak I thought that the photos would look more atmospheric in black and white. Film was my usual B&W choice of Ilford HP5 Plus which is rated at iso 400, the exposure settings on my Sprocket Rocket camera were 100th second at f10. The one thing that had a major bearing on these photos was the biting wind and a temperature of minus something, which meant that after just four shots the film had become so brittle from the cold that it snapped inside the camera - so shoot over!!
